Samsung LN22B460

I'm very happy with Samsung LN22B460. The picture is great, and the sound is good. The Amazon site said it had three HDMI ports at the time I ordered, but the TV in reality only has one HDMI (I sent Amazon a note to correct the product description.) I wasn't thrilled about not getting three HDMI ports, but I decided to keep the TV nonetheless since it has a great picture in the size I need and at a good price.

Enjoy the sharpest details and vivid color with an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for more realistic images and Samsung's Wide Color Enhancer 3 technology for a more natural rendering of colors. It also incorporates a number of innovative features to reduce the motion blur and image judder, which traditionally plague LCD HDTVs when displaying fast movement. This B630 series HDTV combines an ultra-fast 4ms (millisecond) response time with Samsung's Auto Motion Plus frame interpolation technology, which utilizes a 120Hz refresh rate helps ensure crisp, easy viewing of sports, video games and movies.

Samsung LN40B750

i have the ln40a650 and the Samsung LN40B750 and i'm starting to wonder why i pay so much more than a more economical lcd set, is it the 120 or 240 hz? , i'm not so sold on it anymore, and yes i have the 100 dollar hdmi cables, the 120 and 240 hz is noticeable in film content but, for regular viewing it is inconsistent at best, as a matter of fact, the whole HD experience for viewing regular programming is unstable, so why keep paying so much more? my blu ray player looks great on this set, though i bet it would look good on any lcd or plasma, expensive or not, and as for the widgets, ho hum, i have many other options available for weather, stocks or useless information, the makers of these more expensive sets keep selling us on these new ideas, but, is it worth it? i'm gonna have to say no, at least not yet anyway. it's a very good set, i just think overpriced a bit

Samsung LN40B630

Being the first to review the 2009 Samsung LN40B630 on Amazon was purely an accident in that I actually bought the new Sony KDL-40V5100 on April 2nd. At that time, the Samsung B650 had just come out, but its high gloss panel would not have performed well in my brightly lit room. My high definition projection TV had kicked the bucket after 8-years, but I rarely enjoyed watching HD because the daylight glare would wash out the picture.

The Sony's non-glare screen performed well except when the picture would black out during dark movie scenes. I discovered that many of the V5100 series have had this glitch and Sony had no fix for it at that time. To Best Buy's credit, they cheerfully exchanged the Sony under their 30-day return policy and delivered the Samsung LN40B630 model which has a non-glare screen and is similar to the popular B650.

The Samsung LN37B550 is a beautiful TV for an affordable price. If you're in the market for a LCD less than 40" then I would highly recommend this one. The colors are sharp and very crisp. Setup out of the box was extremely easy. My only quibble might be the sound quality, but I think that may be due to it sitting in an enclosed entertainment center. Samsung has become a leader in the LCD market for a reason and this TV is a testament to that fact.

Samsung LN46B630 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

I just received this TV today. So far so good. I was seriously confused between 46b650 and 46b630 and I am very happy that I got 630. Since my room has good ambient light, I was looking for anti glare screen and 630 is a perfect fit. 650 is too glossy for my setting, it is very good for dark room setting but otherwise glare could be very annoying. Yes, 630 has 80000:1 vs 100000:1 for 650 and I did notice the slight difference in contrast. I am yet to tweak picture settings. I got this from Vanns for $1530, got it in 5 days with free shipping and free wall mount.
